Author guidelines

We invite two types of paper submissions: papers and position statements. Both should be submitted by January 16, 2015 at 6pm Atlanta time (GMT-5:00).

Papers and position statements can be submitted via EasyChair.

Formatting

All submissions should adhere to the HCI Archive Format. Please use the Word template or the LaTeX template. Submissions should not be anonymized. Accepted submissions will be published in the joint CEUR-WS IUI workshop proceedings.

Papers

Papers should describe original, unpublished work on the topics of the workshop. We accept papers between 4 and 10 pages, excluding references. Authors of accepted papers will present their work in 25-30 minute slots that include a presentation part and discussion a discussion part. The amount of time for each part will be determined based on the maturity of the work.

Position statements

Position statements should describe novel research ideas, or summaries of existing work that is relevant to the workshop topic. When summarizing existing work, please be respectful of self-plagiarism conventions (do not copy-paste too much, provide references to the original work). We accept position statements of Up to 3 pages, including references. Authors of accepted position statements will present their ideas in a very short lightning talk session with 5-10 minute slots. These slots will consist of 2-3 minutes presentation, the rest is for discussion.
